Job Overview:
USSC is seeking an experienced Director of Growth and Partnerships to help service and grow the Nike Volleyball & Field Hockey Camps division and its partners. This person possesses a network of sports industry professional and a track record of scaling youth programs. The ideal candidate would have in depth experience in a sales & partnerships role, ideally within or with collegiate athletics or professional sports. Having a passion for sports and youth development at large is a must.
This person has a successful track record of surpassing sales goals, account management, building meaningful relationships, and being an effective communicator. This role will be given to someone with a team player mindset who embraces change, takes initiative, and if comfortable wearing many hats in a rapidly growing company. With the guidance from Management, this person will identify and successfully recruit new partners, and service current and new partners, while working closely with the operations team to achieve seamless onboarding and year-round administrative support.
This person will be responsible for matching partner needs with different USSC services to create productive partnerships. Success in this role requires a can-do attitude, competitiveness, resourcefulness, incredible partnership management, and most importantly, an understanding of what has made US Sports Camps successful for the past 47 years: a full commitment to servicing our coaches and an unwavering passion for youth athletic and personal development. This is a full-time hybrid role located at the US Sports Camps Headquarters in San Rafael, CA or fully remote options are available for the right candidate. Provisional 90-day period beginning October-December.
The Job:
· Expanding Nike Volleyball Camp & Nike Field Hockey Camp network through new best-in-class coaches and facilities, hitting target KPIs for partnership and revenue growth
· Account management of the current network of Nike Volleyball Camp & Nike Field Hockey Camp partners and facilities, focus on growth and service improvement
· High level customer service and incident management
· Support division leader in administrative, operational, and marketing project planning
· Forecasting, allocating, and ordering product for camps (staff uniforms, t-shirts, prizes, etc.)
· Support with Sport P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting
· Represent US Sports Camps and our Nike Volleyball Camp & Nike Field Hockey Camp divisions at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
· Help manage and liaison with camp operations and customer service employees
· Identify and establish strategic partnerships with governing bodies, professional leagues, schools, clubs, coaches, and other relevant entities to expand the reach and impact of our camps.
· Collaborate with marketing to create effective promotional campaigns that resonate with the target audience and drive registration.
· Help analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to make informed decisions that enhance our camp programs.
The Ideal Candidate:
· Strong track record of successfully driving growth and building partnerships in the sports, camp, or related event-based industries.
· Experience as a collegiate/professional coach, player, or administrator (in the field of volleyball is a plus!) with a network and understanding of the college sports camps landscape
Strong understanding of the sports landscape, including key players, trends, and competitive environment.
· Exceptional communication, organization and project management skills
· Experience with camp/events and/or account management and operations
· Experience in budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, and contract negotiation
· A demonstrated passion for athletics and social impact
· Team player mindset and values
· Patience, stress-tolerance, ability to think quickly, and a proactive work style
· Proficient verbal, written, mathematic, and computer skills (including Microsoft applications)
· A Bachelor’s degree or higher

As the right-hand to the Functional Controller for Accounts Payable, this will be a highly visible position within the YEB accounting shared service organization with interactions across various departments and the opportunity to make a significant impact. This role will own the accounts payable processes from invoice receipt, through approval, to payment for the entire YEB Group. Primary responsibilities will also encompass the leadership and supervision of a team of on- and off-shore skilled AP professionals as well as the close collaboration with cross-functional business unit (BU) operational teams to ensure invoices are coded correctly, paid timely and that various vendor relationships are sustained and built in a professional manner. To be successful in this role, the AP Manager should possess the ability to conduct and oversee a wide variety of AP processes and projects as well as professionally team with multiple stakeholders and business partners. An ideal candidate would not only be a self-starter who is driven to learn and add value quickly but also should be savvy in Excel, have excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal skills, and the ability to create and maintain a team-oriented environment. The Sr. Manager, CRM sits at the intersection of Technology, Data, and Marketing overseeing the strategy, implementation, and optimization of the customer relationship management platforms used by the business units across YEB. This person will be skilled in Data Architecture, Marketing Technology, and Business Intelligence and collaborate closely with senior business unit leaders to improve retention and growth through data flow design, system adoption, and platform management.
